On March 15, 2014, Burundi Bureau of Standards (BBN) will implement the pre shipment compliance assessment scheme. In this scheme, all controlled products imported into Burundi need to be assessed and a certificate of conformity (CoC) issued to prove that the product meets the applicable standards.
